So who knew that 7 days without technology would be so hard!? It was obvious from the start that Camry wasn't going to be able to do it alone. When everyone else is watching tv, playing the wii, etc. it's just too hard to stay away. So my brilliant idea was to help her out. I was okay until the big freezing snowstorm hit! Honestly! I think I could have made it 2 weeks if my kids could have just gone outside to play. But on Thursday night as I'm making dinner and the boys and the 2 dogs (we were dog sitting Mulligan) were running around the table screaming like wild banshees I found myself screaming, "TURN ON THE Wii!!" Aaahhhh....the silence that ensued was totally worth it!
SO...to those of you who think less of me, just know that my sanity was hanging on the brink!
On Friday night I found myself home all alone. Finishing up work I decided to just hop on Facebook for a quick minute. No harm done right? Ya right! Who do I run into...JEREMY! Of all people! Crap! I'm so busted! He is going to tell Rochelle...who already has it out for me for being on Facebook in the first place! I believe his exact comment was, "I thought you were supposed to be taking a week off, you LOSER!" Ha ha! After I chat with a few friends I decided since I'd already broken all the rules I'd watch Grey's online...what a great show! I totally cried...and it was totally worth it!
so anyway
In my defense...it wasn't my homework assignment, I made it 5 days without cheating, and I only hurt myself...
I'm glad to be back in the technological world with no guilt!!

Welcome back! You were missed. Aren't you so glad you weren't a pioneer? Probably they didn't really miss what they didn't know about, huh?
Five days is AMAZING!!! I am proud of you.
THe best part is that you thought it was Jeremy catching you!!!
I told him, "Hey! What's Autumn doing on there?" So I filled him in. You did great!!!
BTW, Thank you for taking Accountability, the A in N.O.V.A is working!
I don't think less of you at all. I would have never even made it 5 days. Way to go!! I cried watching Grey's too BTW. So good!
5 days is more than I could of done. Thanks for watching Mulligan for us too!
I'm impressed! I couldn't have made it 5 days. Glad you're back!
I love the story and the confession. I laughed. Good job though. 5 day can be a long time especially when kids are trapped indoors.
I'm proud of you! I don't know what I would do if I couldn't turn on my tv for at least an hour a day...she's my babysitter!
Welcome back! I will be in Utah 12th-21st. Been meaning to email you but figured you wouldn't see it since you had sworn off technology. Guess I was wrong. ; )
I don't blame you at all. I love technology. I wonder if we could do it. Connor would have a really really hard time. I agree, mom's have to have some sanity.
Autumn you crack me up! I will admit that Go Diego Go does the trick for me sometimes. I have missed the world of technology...but morning sickness calls!
ha!! I love that you excused yourself, "it wasn't my assignment anyway". Does that make you feel better? ha! :) Totally makes me laugh. I am sure you are glad it's over. Emily did it all on her own and made it! How did Camry do? xo
Hee hee. Ha ha. I'm laughing all over again. Way to fess up. :)
So hey, Autumn, did you decide to take another week off? Have you been sucked into the FaceBook Vortex and can't find your way out? I miss your posts.
I don't think that there was any deceiving going on, you just failed! LOL! I couldn't have done that either. You did do really well though. Good for you.
