Goodbye 2007

2007 A Great Year.....So many fun and exciting things happened in 2007 we couldn't possibly name them all. So, I asked my family to think of their 2 favorite things of the year.....here is what everyone said......

Easton.....Easton's favorite thing of 2007 was hiking up Mt. Timanogas for our Halliday Family Reunion. He and Camry ran all the way to the top! He thought it was so cool inside....he still talks about it.

East's number 2 was Bear World in Rexburg, Idaho. We loved it! We got to the feed the bears some doughnuts....so much fun!

Camry.....At the top of Camry's list was the trip her Grandma Gail took her on to the American Girl Place in L.A. She has never been so spoiled, or had as much fun! It was every little girls dream!
The Hannah Montana concert was a close second to her trip with her Grandma! Loved every minute of seeing Hannah/Miley in concert!

Jace.....
Jace had a really hard time deciding his top 2.....shocker.....He finally decided that Disneyland was his fav.
..and Karate is a close 2nd. He loves thinking that he is as big as Easton!

Bryan..... Our trip to Yellowstone was one of Bryan's favorite things. We took a last minute road trip with Jeff and Bonnie's family and had such a good time!
Disneyland was at the top of everone's list. The kids are getting bigger, so every time we go it gets easier and more fun! We had a great Thanksgiving there!
Autumn.....The addition to the Halliday family of Sophie, Aunt Laura, and Derek is by far my number 1. We are so lucky to have them in our family! My number 2 was hard to decide. I finally went with my sister in law trip that we took to Las Vegas for Mother's Day. We saw Celine for the last time and had a great 3 days!
Thank you to all of you who made our 2007 a fabulous year! We are looking forward to what 2008 will hold for our family!

"Happy Halliday's!"

We had a great Christmas this year. Tons of family, good food, and gifts galore! The kids were thrilled with everything that Santa brought for them! Camry got her new stereo system with the ipod doc., Easton got his beloved ripstick, and Jace got his Leapster. (I think he was still holding out for a Nintendo DS, but Santa didn't come through for the 5 year old this year) We were so glad to have Grandpa and Grandma Northern here with us. It is always so much fun to wake up and have the Grandparents here to enjoy the excitement! We had an early 5am wake up call from the two older kids, who don't sleep much at all on Christmas Eve. Luckily Santa had time to arrive before they got up...so all was well! The kids are already looking forward to next year....give me a couple of months and maybe I will be too! :)

Christmas Eve Pajamas

Almost as exciting as Christmas morning is opening up our Christmas Eve pajamas and ornaments from Grandma and Grandpa Northern! The kids all hop in the tub, then get to put on their cozy new pajamas and hang their new ornament on their tree. Jace, Grandma, Camry, and Easton
Grandpa, Grandma, and Grandkids
This year Camry got a Jack Sparrow ornament (she has outgrown the princess phase, much to Grandma Gails dismay), Easton got the new Spiderman, and Jace got a Shrek The Third ornament. They loved them AND their jammies! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

Oh What A Mess!

The kids and I decorated Gingerbread houses on Christmas Eve. It was so much fun! I am amazed at their artistic abilities! I would have thought they would have quickly slapped something together....but no, it was hours of entertainment! Jace, taking his time getting his house just right!

Easton did some crazy things to his house, it made it look awesome!

Dancing Christmas Lights

Go to the bottom of my blog and turn off my music before you watch the clip.

The kids and I braved the blizzard that we had yesterday, and traveled to Pleasant Grove to see a Christmas Lights Display that everyone has been talking about. It was definitely worth the scary drive! The kids loved every minute of it! We watched the whole thing 2 times and they still didn't want to leave! It was amazing! If anyone is in the area...it is a must see! Call me I can give you directions. We are taking Grandma and Grandpa in a couple of days and can't wait to see it again!

Camry's BFF

Preschool Graduation

Ballet Recital

Camry and Katrina have been best friends since they were babies. They are 13 days apart in age and are inseparable! Katrina is such a good girl (I would keep her as my own if I could)! Unfortunately we don't live across the street from her anymore but, Katrina is always the first name on the guest list for any event in Camry's life! They are the sweetest girls and have so much fun together! I love it that Camry has such a cute best friend....whose mom, I happen to love! Here's to remaining best buddies and being good girls for the rest of their lives!! Love you girls!

The Kids Have Been Elfed!

Everyone is doing this, so I had to participate as well! The funniest thing about this is what a kick my kids get out of seeing themselves (and Emmy) as elves! Everyone should try it! :) Merry Christmas!

Happy 11th Birthday Camry!

Camry had her 11th Birthday yesterday! Where does time go? I am so proud of my girl! I couldn't ask for anything more in a little girl. Camry is an artist at heart. She loves music, drawing, sewing, photography and anything else that uses her creativity. She has been taking piano for the past 4 years and she is getting really good at it. I can no longer help her with her lessons, as she has long since passed my skill level! She is a great student and has so many friends. Camry is also a really good sister. She and Easton are the best of friends, but she will also include Jace (most of the time). I am so thankful to have been able to spend the past 11 years with her and I look forward to many many more! I love you Cams!

Camry's "Beauty-Ful" Birthday Party

For Camry's birthday party this year Aunt Bonnie and I took the girls to the Salon for hair and nails. It was so much fun! Little girls are so cute...they learn early to appreciate being pampered! Funny story....Camry's friend Emily (who is a doll) was so nervous! She is a bit of a tomboy and wasn't sure this was going to be very much fun. She was a great sport about everything but, on the way home she was really quiet (not like her at all). I kept asking her if she was okay and she would say yes. When we dropped her off, as she was getting out of the van, we noticed that she had chewed off ALL of her nail polish! Bonnie and I were cracking up! We had a great time!

Santa Baby!

We made a quick stop to see Santa today while we were at the mall. The kids were so excited! He was so cute with them!
Jace was all prepared to sit on Santa's lap....I think he got a little nervous standing in line....he seemed a little shy (which is SO not him). He asked Santa for a Leapster and a game.
Camry asked Santa for a stereo that she could attach her Ipod to. She is such a music lover!
Easton....(tough guy)....he is so like his Dad! He asked Santa to bring him a Ripstick. If he gets what he asks for we're hoping that we don't spend Christmas morning in the E.R.!

Musical Express

Camry performed at the mall in Orem today. She is a member of the honors choir at school. Her group is called "The Musical Express". They practice 3 mornings a week at 7:00am. It's a real pain for her Mom.....but she loves it, so it makes it worth it!
You know when you're in church and you're supposed to be quiet, but you and your buddy get the giggles??.....This is what happened today to Camry and Emily.....I have no idea what got them started, but they were cracking up! Funny!

"Snow" Exciting!

Bryan and Uncle Ryan win the "Dad Of The Year" award for spending about 4 hours out in the cold building a snow fort with the kids! The kids (and the Dad's) were so into this project! I think they did an awesome job!! My contribution was breakfast and the amazing flag that stands on top of the igloo! Poor Emmy! This is what happens to her when she goes out in the snow! She gets covered in these little snow balls that are frozen solid to her! I have to put her in a warm bath to get them off! Jace, Easton, Dad, Camry and Brayden (Easton's buddy from next door) working hard!
Talking about the design (I'm sure)...Bryan, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Laura, and Derek

Jace saw this and said, "Dad, how is Uncle Ryan going to get out!?"...we were all wondering!!

All the kids in the "Halliday Igloo"
The finished project! ....they almost used up all of our snow! :(
