Crazy Cousin Campout!

Hat's off to any mother who has 6 children! We are watching Jeff and Bonnie's kids for them for a couple of days. Tonight we decided to have a backyard campout. (I'm sure I will be paying for this all day tomorrow!) The kids were so excited about sleeping in the tent. I'm thinking it will take the two little guys about 20 minutes to come crawling in the back door looking for the comforts of home!Jace and Garet all geared up to sleep outside! Jace is really worried that Garet is going to ruin his campout by snoring! (He is a nut!)

Ryan & Laura's Wedding

Yesterday evening Bryan and I got to be witnesses to the wedding of Ryan and Laura. I feel very lucky to be married to Ryan's twin brother so that I could attend! Laura looked beautiful! We adopted Laura and Derek into our family over a year ago, but we are all so excited that they are really Hallidays now! After almost eight years together and a year and a half engagement the wedding was just perfect!Such a cute little family! After the kiss.

Mommy's Weekend Getaway

I flew to Arizona this weekend to visit my parents. My mom and I got to spend Saturday at the Dolce Salon and Spa in Scottsdale. It was so much fun! A million thanks to my mom and dad for an awesome weekend!We had 5 1/2 hours of fun at the spa!

This is what my boys looked like when they picked me up from the airport. They decided that they wanted to sport mohawks...and their dad let them! We were going to go out to dinner, but decided on a drive-thru instead!!

The kids were so excited to start school today! Easton woke up at 4:00 am! (of course he had to go back to sleep until 7:00 am) You would have thought that it was Christmas at my house. I'm so glad that they love school...I can't wait for them to get home so we can hear about their day!

Highschool Musical Mania!!

The premier of Highschool Musical 2 was a big deal here in the land of the Teenybopper! Camry has been counting down with the Disney Channel for months now...so when Aunt Tanya gave us the idea for a Highschool Musical Premier Party we HAD to do it! We always love an excuse for a party! The stores have been cleared out of HSM goodies for weeks now....last minute shoppers had no hope. We were so lucky that Aunt Jacci found our cake! We had such a great time!The only Highschool Musical cake left in all of Utah! Aunt Jacci had to go pick it up for us at 2 different bakeries in Salt Lake City!

If Dogs were our teachers we would learn things like:
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
Take naps.
Stretch before rising.
Run, romp, and play daily.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.
Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

Jace Can Ride a 2 Wheeler!

We took the training wheels off of Jaces bike tonight. I held on to him for about 3 steps then let go and he took off down the road! He looked back and noticed I wasn't holding on and didn't even care. He is so proud of himself! He keeps saying "I can ride a 2 wheeler and I'm not even 5 yet!" He can ride the big bike too, but prefers the little one..probably because he is closer to the ground in the event of a crash! He is growing up so fast!
