Lesson Learned

It IS possible to put TOO much air into your beloved football!
Sad.....
Note to self-add football to Christmas list.

Thankful For....

Here is my little Pilgrim. Do you love how he decorated the front just like a guy from Star Wars...and the shiny gum wrapper he added to the hat after he got home from school...just to spice it up a bit! :)

At school Jace had to fill a Thanksgiving platter with the things he is thankful for. Here is his list:

  • I am thankful for my EaSton
  • I am thank ful for my SISDR
  • I am thankful for my BeD
  • I am thankful for My Dad
  • I am thankful for MOMDad
  • I am thankful for MY CaMRy
  • I am thankful for my Jace
  • I am thankful for my MoM
  • I am thankful for my bed

I'm glad he loves his bed so much! :) I love this age when they are first learning to write. Today I'm thankful for Jace for making me smile...also for the other two who have been inadvertently left off the blog for a while....oops! :)
Happy Thanksgiving!

Midnight Twilight Premiere

Call us crazy...but we had CRAZY fun! A big thanks to Kristin who hooked us up with a lady selling tickets to the midnight premiere of Twilight at The Gateway. We had reserved seating which meant...no long lines....no standing out in the cold...no pushing and shoving! Wahoo!
Jodi, Jodi Jo, Cami, Susan, Amy, Natelli, Jacci, Laura, Autumn, Jenny
We split into different groups because the restaurants were overwhelmed with crazed Twilighters! Our group chose Chili's in downtown SLC.
Jenny, Jacci, myself, and Laura at the theater
Seated...11:30pm in our awesome seats!
Jodi, Amy, and Jodi Jo were right in front of us
Whoa! ..no..Cami and Jenny weren't bitten by Edward...we were given vampire teeth upon entering the theater.
Amy, Natelli, and Susan...these guys really were bitten by Edward!
Ha ha ha...that's all I have to say about this pic.
They did a drawing right before the movie started and OF COURSE Jacci's seat number was called! Lucky girl! She got a key chain, a book mark, and a pin. We actually had pretty good luck. Out of our group 3 people won things!
Overall...I thought the movie was...okay. I was entertained. Can't wait for New Moon! Thanks for the fun girls!

Goose Bumps

"Mom did you know that my Singing Teacher had the Goose Bumps?"
(What poor Mrs. Blewitt actually had was the chicken pox...hey he got the species right!)
What would I do without my Jace to keep me laughing?

Master Jace

Master Jace decided to do his Kindergarten presentation on Karate. He was required to get up in front of his whole class and teach them about Karate. He did a great job, and made Little Ninjas out of the whole class.
Jace teaching the kids "listening position number 1"
Fellow Ninjas
"Listening position number 2"
Good job little Ninja!!

Life Without....

Our family has been television free since the first of September. Lately I've been noticing how behind on current events I am. Someone will say to me ...can you believe... or, did you see.... Nope. I know I have access to the world wide web and could keep up this way, but honestly it just seems a little too time consuming. Ignorance is bliss??
Things we miss about tv:
The Disney Channel
he lives in a pineapple under the sea...
TLC (The Roloffs and Jon and Kate)
High Stakes Poker (this one excludes me)
DVR
Things we like about not having tv:
peace and quiet
less homework hassle
not having to pay the cable bill
never having to look for the remote
...peace and quiet....

SWAT Team

Meet the newest member of the
S.pecial W.inning A.ttitude T.eam
Easton has been working toward the goal of making the SWAT team for years now. You have to be at least a brown belt rank to even try out. The competition is tough! I was a nervous wreck for the whole week of try outs! I don't know who was more excited that he made it...me or Easton! Try outs this year ran really close to the semi annual state tournament so the team only had a couple of weeks to learn and perfect their routine. They put in so many long hours! I was so proud of Easton for never complaining and for practicing so hard! All of their hard work paid off and they took home a first place trophy!
