6 Days With My Girl!

We got to babysit Hannah for 6 days while her Mom and Dad were in Las Vegas. We had so much fun with her! The only one really glad to see her go was Emmy...who had a really rough week sharing the attention! I was a little worried that I might have forgotten how to take care of a baby, but I think it's a little like riding a bike...it just comes back to you! She is such a good girl and I feel so blessed to have her named after me! I love her so much! I'm so glad that Trent and Tanya trusted us enough to watch their little princess! We miss her already!

Emmy's Arch Enemy!

We have had Santa in our yard at Christmas time for a couple of years now. This is Emmy's first Christmas at our house and she is not a fan of the jolly old guy! We take her out front to go potty before bedtime every night...the first time I took her out after we put him up she refused to walk out the front door! It's funny to watch....she is getting more used to him now....she will slowly walk out the door keeping a careful watch on him the whole time. Then, she pastes herself up against the house and runs at full speed around the corner until she thinks she's a safe distance from him! If there is a breeze outside at all making him move, there is no way we can get her to go out! Silly dog!

Camry's Mom....The Procrastinator

Last week Camry asked if I would help her make some wings for her class play by the following Friday...I said sure no problem! Here it is Thursday night after bedtime and I remember! I'm actually quite impressed with myself that I remembered at all! Thought I'd share what we came up with in about 20 minutes! It was fun to spend some one on one time together, and I think we did a pretty good job using things we found around the house! The kings wings from the front

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

We have a "no shoes" rule at our house.....I thought this was the cutest thing to see the kids snow boots all lined up by the door!
Jace, Camry, and Easton in our Winter Wonderland Does this look like fun or what!? Bryan hooked a tube up to the back of the four wheeler and he and the kids were out braving the cold for hours! A quick visit to the emergency room suspended the fun for the day....but everything turned out fine! The kids made their dad promise they could do it again next time it snows!

Meet Joshua.....

Tonight Easton had a Choral Reading Performance at school. So....as they were lining up on the stairs in front of the stage this little boy, who was supposed to be in the row in front of Easton hops up to join him on the same step. Needless to say he was invading Eastons personal space like crazy! I had to share this video I captured of this kid! He was cracking me up.....we have no idea what was even said throughout the whole program because we were all busy focusing on Joshua. Easton was having a hard time delivering his lines because everytime he would look at his Dad, Bryan would motion with his hands that he should push the kid off of his stair.....then Easton would laugh and turn away. ---tonight I am going to say a special prayer for Joshuas mother!! :)
