Gingerbread Houses

Keeping with tradition we built Gingerbread Houses on Christmas Eve. The kids love this...I have to admit it is actually really fun! Maybe I'll do my own next year! Thank you Grandma for supplying the kits....much easier!

Nemi and her house before it completely fell apart :(

Cams and her masterpiece

Next year Sage needs a whole bag of peppermints....that was the only thing he wanted to put on his house!

Good job little buddy!

Christmas Eve

The girls started the day off making rolls with Grandma. They love helping, and Grandma is always so good to let them!

We Believe!

In 2007 Grandma and Grandpa bought tickets for everyone to hop on board The Polar Express 2008. We all met at The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel in Williams, Arizona. Our adventure included dinner, tickets aboard The Polar Express, hotel, and breakfast the next morning. The kids warming themselves in front of the fire in their new Christmas jammies from Grandpa and Grandma.

Jace was a little nervous, so he was glued to me the whole time...this didn't make me sad!
Sage LOVED riding the Choo Choo!!
Santa's elves served us hot cocoa and chocolate chip cookies. Yummy!
Arriving at The North Pole
The real Santa came aboard the train at The North Pole and handed out bells to the kids. They were so excited!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the memories....we had a great time!

What Every Girl Needs

Is my girl really 12 years old today?? Where did time go? I can't believe she is old enough to do things like ask for a cell phone for her birthday.....
The Birthday Girl couldn't be happier with this gift!!
Our talented Aunt Jacci came through once again and made Camry an amazing cell phone cake. The best thing about Jacci's cakes...other than how cute they are....is that they taste even better!! Thanks Jax!! We love you!
Grandpa and Grandma took the whole family to Outback to celebrate Camry's birthday. This is how the birthday girl spent the entire meal....texting her BFF's...
Happy birthday to my sweet girl! We love you so much!

Pajama Party

For Camry's 12th Birthday Party we had 10 silly girls over for a pajama party complete with pizza making, game playing, cupcake eating, and movie watching.
Savanna, Katrina, Maddy, Emily, Tori, Shaylee, Camry, Megan, Alaina, and Laura
This is how they really act....
We played a fun hand game. The girls were cracking me up with how loud they would scream when someone would get out!
We played "memory" with things about Camry for the matches. Every time someone got a match they got to pick a treat...oh boy....more sugar!
What am I crazy??
The girls each made mini pizzas. This was pretty yummy....and messy!

Blowing out the candles. We were all covering our ears at the end of the Happy Birthday song thanks to Emily's LOUD rendition! (....oh and this is Aunt Bonnie being a trooper and helping me out! She had only had about 4 hours of sleep! Thanks Bonnie!!)
The girls getting ready to watch "Journey to the Center of the Earth"

Last but not least....our night owls. Camry's adopted cousins Tori and Laura spent the night with Camry after everyone else went home. They had a great time eating popcorn and giggling through the night....I have no idea what time they finally fell asleep but I know it was LATE!

Words Cannot Express

...how much I love my friends! Thanks to the amazing technological advances of today I get to stay in touch with my most favorite people in the world on a daily basis. Lisa was in town to visit Debbie for Thanksgiving....so thanks to email, blogging, and text messaging (this last one excludes Lisa) we organized our schedules and got together to have dinner. We had so much fun...duh! We always do!
Lisa, Autumn, Jenny, Debbie, and Kerrieleigh
We met for dinner at Gardner Village. Codi ended up being in town for meetings so we met her and two of her friends at the restaurant. It was so much fun to see her! After some yummy food the restaurant wanted to close so we headed over to Debbie's to chat for a while.

Love you guys! Can't wait until next time! Until then...see you on the blog!

I Need Therapy

....I have plenty of issues. I'll be the first one to admit it. If it isn't obvious one of those BIG issues is my blog. I am constantly getting bored with it and switching up the layout. The previous green polkas just weren't jumping out at me so I think I've finally found one I can live with.
BUT in my haste....I wasn't careful AGAIN and have accidentally erased all of my buddies off of my sidebar!! SCREAM!!! SO if you don't mind I would love an email from you giving me your blog address so that I can recover your sites and add them back on! Sorry I'm such a dork!! Happy Holidays!! ahalliday5@yahoo.com
