I love the Fall. One of my favorite things is our annual sister in law night at Thriller.

Let the sleuthing begin....

For our Halliday Halloween Party this year Jacci threw a "Murder Mystery" dinner. Set in the 1920's our night was filled with delicious food, amazing costumes, apple beer, candy cigarettes, fog, silent movies, and Big Band Swing music. Everyone had so much fun and really got into their roles. Sadly my fiance "Notorious Nick" was killed...thanks to the crooked "Chief Carl".

Happy 100th Day Grandpa!

Congratulations to our Grandpa for hitting his 100th day!! Today marks 100 days since Mike had his bone marrow transplant. We surprised him by getting the whole family together for a surprise cake and ice cream party. We had a great time celebrating together. Next Tuesday he will be going to the Doctor to get the results from his latest bone marrow biopsy. If all goes well he and Grandma should be on their way back home to Blanding....at least until their house sells....it's hard to really believe we've finally convinced them to move closer to all of us! Yahoo!!

Flash Back to the '80's at Monica and Charlie's house!!!

A couple of trips to the local Thrift Store and a raid on Jessica's '80's dance attire and here is what we came up with....a little bit Olivia Newton John-ish mixed up with some Miami Vice??

What would a party from the 1980's be without a little "magic". Zane is a magician...let me tell you....he was AMAZING!!! He was willing to show all of us a little bit of his talent and completely entertain us!!

We played "Taboo" with 80's trivia. This was so much fun! The girls were the winners....of course!!

Thanks Cuca and Charlie for an awesome night! We had a great time revisiting our youth!!

My Lakeview Buddies

Me, Monica, Cami, and Jessica

After months of trying to get 4 schedules to work together so we could have a night out on the town....we finally did it! These are my buddies from Lakeview. The four of us met at school where we all have kids in the same class. Jess owns the only boy in the group....and our 3 girls drool over his handsome self everyday!
Yay! Our buzzer is buzzing!! Love love love the Olive Garden!

After the Olive Garden we went to "Color Me Mine" a way fun place where you can paint your own pottery. I had a hard time deciding between these salt and pepper shakers and the cute little 2 ft. gnome....

This store is right up Cami's alley. She is a lover of dishes! She painted a lovely dish...that she wasn't too satisfied with but had fun decorating anyway. Anything with Cami is fun!!
Monica decided on the big popcorn bowl....turning into a pasta bowl instead, she's so creative and her bowl turned out SO CUTE!
Jess is so thoughtful...she painted a dish for her sister in law. I'm lucky enough to be able to work with Jessica everyday.....let me tell you...lunchroom duty is WAY more exciting with her around!
