Hogle Zoo

I'm a little behind on posting our Friday field trips....okay...a lot.
A few weeks ago my good friend Cami asked us to watch her girls while she and her husband were away in Switzerland so we got to take them along on our zoo field trip. Yay!
Easton, Camry, Emily, and Jace picnicing at the zoo.
This is cute Heidi. She's 4 and calls me "Honey". Awww....
Aunt Jax and Soph
Brie sticking her tongue out at Auntie :)
Chubby Dawsie
Jace and Garet...consulting the map. They were real excited about having maps and wanted to direct us where to go.
Garet, Kaleb, Easton, Jace riding the Rhino.
Emily, Camry, and Sophie--it was a HOT zoo day!
Camry and Soph on the merry-go-round
Maddie, Auntie Laura, and Brie riding in the peacock
Em and Cams SO excited to ride the merry-go-round they can hardly contain themselves!
What could be so interesting???
That's right...um. SICK! Can you see it's poor little legs sticking out? I was forced to endure this from beginning to bitter end by 8 extremely excited children!
It was our Maddie's 4th birthday. She was SUPER excited about her ice cream cone!
Ice cream break
Camry and the darling new baby elephant Zuri.
Elephant highlight for the little boys-Zuri getting pooped on by mama elephant....of course.
Brielle, Mommy, Auntie, and Dylan
Jace, Garet, and Maddie SO happy to finally be on the train!

Happy Hot Zoo Day!
Until next time.....

I wonder if every kid does what I do when I'm at the snake enclosure...I used every ounce of Harry Potter magic I can muster up and try to make the glass disappear. Of course, why would any snake try to escape such a wonderful mouse-infested home?

Looks like a fun trip..and who doesn't get excited about maps, and mama's poopin' on their babies? Awesome.
