Pinewood Derby

Jace had his first Pinewood Derby this month. He was so excited. He and his dad worked long and hard on his car. Grandpa Mike even sent some awesome vinyl stickers to snazz it up.

My GIGANTIC sized meal

We just spent a fun filled weekend in Vegas with two of our favorite people. We left Saturday around noon and got to our hotel around 6. We checked in, and while the boys got in a round of Craps, Jacci and I checked out the pool. It was so cold outside, but definitely not as cold as the weather we left. We went to find the boys so we could go to dinner. We drove up the strip and went to the MGM Grand to eat at the Rain Forest Cafe. The food was so yummy. When we got back to the car we realized we were REALLY out of gas! We were below the E and weren't sure how far we had driven like that. We coasted our way out of the MGM and made it to a gas station. Phew! We had some good laughs thinking about Jacci and I pushing the car down the strip.  Back at the hotel the boys headed to the Craps table while Jax and I headed to the beautiful hot tub. It was awesome...other than we froze to get in and once we hopped in we realized it was LUKE WARM! The pool attendant let us know that one of their heaters had just gone out. Awesome. We laughed and shivered all the way back to our hotel room. We woke up early Sunday morning and went to Treasure Island. Jacci and I had an appointment at the Spa. We spent an hour getting our legs and feet massaged. It was lovely. After lunch we went to get our tickets for our show and buffet. We drove back to the hotel and dropped of the boys, then we went shopping. Yay! We went back to the hotel and took a nap and then got ready for dinner. We ate at the Treasure Island buffet and then went to see Mystere. It was so good! I love Cirque de Soleil. Monday we woke up to sunny skies so we hurried off to the pool. We were worried it was going to be cold but were pleased when our sweaters were not needed. The sun felt AMAZING! We spent the whole morning reading by the pool. We met our hubbys for lunch and then went back to the pool for the rest of the afternoon. We both got a little too much sun but it was HEAVEN! After getting ready we went to the movie. (there was a big theatre in our hotel), we saw Source Code.  After the movie we went to dinner at Claim Jumper. It was yummy, but the portions were giant and could literally feed a GIANT. We woke up early Tuesday and drove home. We had so much fun! I think we laughed the whole time, got honked at by far too many taxi drivers, and the boys left with huge smiles on their faces and a little more change in their pockets! Thank you Jax and Cor for an AWESOME weekend! FRANKLY we couldn't have asked for a better time! :)

Disney on Ice

Bryan and I took the kids along with Jeffrey and his kids to Disney on Ice. It was so cute. The show featured all of the Disney love stories. A couple of weeks before the show I took Maddie (and Jeff's wallet) to The Disney Store and we picked out a princess dress and accessories. We had THE MOST fun! She picked Rapunzel along with the crown and the shoes. It's a good thing we've got Maddie because I'm pretty sure Camry wasn't going to sport a princess dress to the show....

Dr. Seuss' Birthday

I have the greatest job! I love working at my kids school and seeing them throughout their day. I'm always the first one to try to talk the office staff into dressing up and being silly for special holidays! For Dr. Seuss' birthday celebration we had a ton of fun coming up with some fun costumes!
Mrs. Nickle (the Grinch), Mrs. Monson (Thing 2), Mrs. Halliday (Thing 3), Mrs. Gibson, (Thing 1), Mr. Stone (Dr. Seuss)

My office girls~ LOVE them!

Ice Fishing

We have the best neighbors! The Evans' took Easton ice fishing. Even though we sunscreened him like crazy he still got burned from the glare off of the snow!
They caught tons or fish and had a great time!!
