Relay For Life

Uncle Trent and Aunt Tanya put together a Relay For Life team for our family. The theme was "Seasons of Hope"... our team name was Paprika Dash (Trents creative thinking).  We traveled to Gunnison on Friday after work to party and relay. Trent and Tanya had our campsite all set up on the football field. First up was Mr. Relay where each team had a male member dress up like a woman and collect money from the crowd. Our team had two awesome men step up to the plate. McKay and Jace were the greatest sports! Next was the Survivor walk. Grandpa and Uncle Corey joined all of the other survivors for a lap as we cheered them on. After that we attended an auction where Aunt Tanya auctioned off two blankets she had made and earned $150.00 for The American Cancer Society! Awesome! We visited everyones booths and got some yummy food and even came home with a new pet fish that Jace insisted he needed! (I guess after dressing up like a woman for an hour it was the least we could do). After an extremely long work week my awake level was maxed out at about 1am so we traveled home instead of sticking it out until 6am. Probably a good thing too because I could hardly keep my eyes open the whole way home. Trent and Tanya worked so hard to make the event successful! It was awesome and I can't wait to do it again next year!
They sure do make beautiful little girls!

These gorgeous babes raised 36 dollars for the American Cancer Society!

They came up with this look on their own. They had all the spectators cracking up.McKay told one lady if she wanted to keep taking his photo she needed to give him 5 bucks...so she handed him a 10! haha

Machine Pitch

When we walked up to Jace's first baseball practice we didn't know which team he would be on. As soon as we were close enough he says, "Oh MAN! Not the Twins! I hate the TWINS!" I assured him that now that he was on the LEHI Twins...it would be his new favorite team. Good thing he still listens to his mom! He has LOVED the season!
First ball was a strike (on the ground by his foot). This one was an awesome hit to center field!

Fourth of July

There is nothing better than the 4th of July celebration in Blanding. The kids look forward to it all year long. We started off the day with the parade on Main. Then we headed to the fair at the park where there was tons of people, food, and fun. Next we hit Aunt Karen and Uncle Danny's annual barbecue where the kids had SUCH a great time with their water fight. After yummy food and some soaking wet kids we changed into warm clothes and headed to the park for the firework display. It was a long, hot, and super fun day.
Cutest Americans EVER!

B-town Pool Time

Blanding City got a new swimming pool! I have to admit a little bit of sadness when i saw the old swimming pool leveled to the ground...but the new pool is AWESOME! The kids had hours of fun in the frigid water. Jacci and I enjoyed lounging by the poolside in our recliners. It was a great day!
Grandma swimming with the little girls. Neither one of them felt very comfortable in these life jackets but they endured because they LOVE to swim.

Outdoor Movie Mania

We LOVE the Lehi Outdoor movie! This year they were showing Despicable Me....one of our faves. We were smart and headed over to the ball field early to set up chairs and blankets where we could actually see and hear! We brought yummy treats and met tons of friends throughout the night. Good times!
First we saw...Savannah, Emily, (and Camry)

East stood in line for 1/2 hour at least to get this sweet Red Sox tattoo. You can't see if very well but it says SOX on his cheek. Poor guy wasn't too happy about it... :)

All the boys chowing down on their snacks

By the end of the movie Jeff was asleep and both 8 yr olds were sitting on my lap so they could "see better". Hahaha. Can't wait for next year!
