Lehi Round Up Parade

We got our usual spot for the Lehi Round Up Parade. This year it was on Maddie's 5th Birthday. Sophie and Maddie could hardly make it through the parade because they were so excited for her party afterwards. :) The ward floats were awesome and it was fun to see friends and family in the parade.

A Picture Worth a Thousand Words

Paparazzi Shot by: Autumn

Here's the scoop:
Sometimes you just have a Diet Coke emergency...doesn't matter where you are...you just HAVE to have that Coke.

Jean: Oh! There's a Coke machine in there!
Sharley: Um...Mom that's a liquor store.
Jean: So. There's a Coke machine RIGHT there.

Meanwhile, outside...
Me: Shar..tell me when she comes out. I am getting this on camera!
Shar: She's coming NOW!

And there you have it folks. My Aunt Jeanne coming out of a liquor store. :) Never thought I'd see the day.

Huntington Beach Girls Trip

On Saturday I got a text from my Aunt Jeanne asking if Camry and I would like to go on a girls trip the following weekend with her and Sharley. YES!! We packed up our bags and headed to St. George, picked up Aunt Jeanne, then headed to California. On Sharley's blog she mentioned how she always forgets to take photos on trips because she likes to "live the experience". I think I'm the opposite. My experience is all about documentation. :) I probably take way too many photos but I want to make sure I capture all of the moments to relive them later. Beware of a long post....

Because food is a MAJOR part of a girls trip we documented every meal.
Up first Pizza at BJ's. YUM!

11 hours in the car...this is what we look like. Take it or leave it. :)
